The growth of national campaigns such as Change4Life has highlighted the importance of the promotion of a healthy lifestyle for all – especially the younger generation.
In 2008 only 1 in 5 children aged 5-15 consumed 5 or more portions of fruit and veg a-day. Research also suggests that children with low activity levels have parents with low activity levels*.
Resources in this section aim to teach children from an early age about food and the importance of a healthy diet and an active lifestyle.
