Easy to use scripted teaching sessions for teachers and non-professional instructors. The children will love the stories, rhymes, games and songs in the manual, which add to a fun social learning experience. Handouts, nutritional facts and food label information are only part of the teaching aids included. Also in this product are sessions on the health benefits of eating a low-fat, high-fibre diet. Children learn that it is fun to be more physically active. They will learn how to make healthy snacks using recipes provided in the manual. Each of the recipes contains a complete materials list for the instructor and easy to follow instructions. In addition, there are 5 full-colour nutrition posters to be used in conjunction with the sessions. All of these activities are designed to develop children's confidence in their ability to make good health choices. Family involvement is also an integral component of the CATCH Kids Club.
